- Professional Fly-Fishing Guides: English speaking fly-fishing guides will be on site during our fishing expedition (one per pair of anglers), so no matter what change of strategy the situation calls for, our clients will be on top and ready for the action.
- Local Indigenous Guides: The Angling Frontiers Tsimane staff will be an essential part of the team that helps in the navigation, portaging and much of the trekking we do through this unique terrain. These guys are also experts on the local indigenous culture and its jungle home. From showing you the ropes in the jungle, to singing, and amazing displays of strength, Tsimanes have no shortage of ways to impress. That interaction is part of the treasures this experience has to offer.
- Guide-Operated Boats: Our Tsimane boatmen have many years of experience navigating canoes through treacherous water. Our guys know what they are doing and have extensive knowledge on operating and maintaining these engines and boats, allowing us to safely enter the most inaccessible waters.
- Camp Accommodations: Casare Camp has Safari style tents with 2 beds/pillows for a comfortable and bug free sleep (double occupancy). The dining room has meshed windows, fans and lighting, and there are complete bathrooms with showers, toilets, mirrors, lighting and even laundry service every 2 days. Night time relax includes drinks, even some cards, dice and speakers if music is desired. We want you to be comfortable yet keep the feel of an expedition camp.
- Cuisine: Our cooks will prepare three meals per day. These will include local dishes, and some fusion cuisine, grilling, as well as some traditional international dishes. Lunch will usually be a packable meal to increase fishing time. Also includes soft drinks, bottled water, and limited local beer and local liquor/wines (bring your own specialty liquor or tobacco). Breakfast will have various choices from pancakes, to eggs and bacon, toast and fruit. Dinner will be buffet style, with several choices of protein, sides and salads.
- Fees and Permits: Angling Frontiers has partnered with the indigenous communities and their leaders to ensure our clients the exclusive privilege of entering their territory as special guests. The permits are separate from our outfitter price and have been set at $550.00 per visitor, money that will be re-distributed by the indigenous leaders to all communities participating in the project. (these are the $550 charged for Indigenous Territory fees) This income will allow them to purchase medicine, medical aid, clothes, supplies, tools, school supplies, among others. This all represents the incentive needed for the local Tsimane to want to protect this unique fishery.
- Equipment: Our adventures often take us to explore areas far from our camps, so in certain situations we will be making fly camps out further in the untouched wilderness. Camping equipment will be needed to explore these areas, so all tents, cots, solar batteries, tables and chairs, among many other items, will be provided by Angling Frontiers (double occupancy). Also, for those interested in catching giant catfish, we can provide some heavy spinning and bait-casting rigs. (Guests MUST bring their own light-weight sleeping bag and travel pillow)
- Additional assortment of Flies, Hooks and Tackle (limited supply): Although we will provide you with some tackle, we will have extra tackle available for purchase. We also have some flies for sale at camp that have been specifically tied for trophy golden dorado.

These guys are also experts on the local indigenous culture and its jungle home. From bow-fishing, to singing and constant displays of extraordinary strength, these people have no shortage of ways to impress. - Guide-Operated Boats: Our Tsimane boatmen have many years of experience navigating canoes through treacherous water. Our guys know what they are doing and have extensive knowledge on operating and maintaining these engines and boats, so that we can keep you safe when venturing into the most inaccessible and dangerous waters to fish.
- Camp Accommodations: Our expedition will take us through Casare Camp, with all the comforts it has, but we will be spending more time on our fly camps as we push up to the most pristine waters of the Pachene River. Casare Camp has Safari style tents and beds/pillows for a comfortable and bug free sleep (double occupancy), dining room, bathrooms, showers, lighting, laundry and even cards, dice and speakers if music is desired. We want you to be comfortable and have a good time, yet still keep the feel of an expedition camp. The rest of the time we will be setting up fly camps by the river on our way to and from our furthest point on the Pachene River. These fly camps will use domed tents and cots for the sleeping arrangements (double occupancy), meshed-in dining tents for meals, and out-house style bathrooms with toilet seats. Although we set these up on the spot, our fly camps will be comfortable and clean for our guests to relax upon return to camp after a long day of hunting down dorado.
- Equipment: This adventure will take us to explore areas far from our main camp, areas that are pristine and difficult to get to. Part of the challenge is traveling with everything we need, so we will be making rustic fly camps out further in the untouched wilderness. Camping equipment will be needed to explore these areas, and the lighter the better. All tents, cots, speakers, solar batteries, tables and chairs, among other items, will be provided by Angling Frontiers for your use. Also, for those interested in catching giant catfish, we can provide some heavy spinning and bait-casting rigs. (Guests MUST bring a light-weight sleeping bag and travel pillow of their own!)
- Cuisine: Our cooks will prepare three meals per day. These meals will include local dishes, grilling meat and fish, and other typical foods from Bolivia. Lunch will be a packed meal, while breakfast and dinner will be more elaborate. Also includes bottled water, and a rationed supply of soft drinks, local beer and local liquor/wines (bring your own specialty liquor or tobacco). Our main aim for this expedition is to keep weight on the low side to make travel easier, but also carry the essentials to keep you well fed throughout your expedition into the headwaters of Pachene River.
- Fees and Permits: Angling Frontiers has partnered with the indigenous communities and their leaders to ensure our clients the exclusive privilege of entering their territory as special guests. The exclusive permits are purchased at $550.00 per visitor, money that will be re-distributed by the indigenous leaders to all communities participating in the project. (These are the $550 charged for Indigenous Territory fees) With this income, the communities can purchase essential supplies, medical supplies, clothes, tools and other items of necessity. This form of income represents the incentive they need to protect this unique fishery for generations to enjoy. It is also good to know that this money is helping these people achieve a better standard of living in their own homes, doing what they know best.
- Additional assortment of Flies, Hooks and Tackle (limited supply): Although we will provide you with some tackle, we will have extra tackle available for purchase. We also have some flies for sale at camp that have been specifically tied for trophy golden dorado.
